Job Title: Business Development – India–USA Trade Lane (Logistics)
Salary: 50000.00 – 100000.00 Per month
Location: PAN India / Remote + Travel
Department: International Business
Experience: 2–5 years
Reports to: Trade Lane Manager
Role Overview:
This role focuses on generating and growing freight forwarding business on the India–USA trade route by acquiring new clients and handling nomination-based business from U.S. importers.
Key Responsibilities:
Generate leads and fix meetings with India-based exporters and U.S.-based importers
Promote IRC’s capabilities in FCL/LCL, customs clearance, door delivery, and TEILS
Build relationships with overseas agents and U.S.-based trade partners
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets in containerized exports/imports
Coordinate with pricing and operations teams for proposal submissions
Track and report client acquisition funnel regularly
Qualifications:
Graduate/Postgraduate in Business or Logistics/Supply Chain
Prior experience in freight forwarding or trade lane development (India–USA preferred)
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Familiarity with nomination-based shipping preferred
